Short story.
Quite happy being single. But. Met a guy, got on well, swapped details. He messaged daily. Seemed genuinely interested in me and my life. Went on a couple of dates. Seemed to be going OK. Messaging changed. Didn’t stop completely, but you know when you can just tell?
“I reckon I’m getting ghosted” I told one of my friends.
“Maybe he’s just been busy?”
Hmmm.
Asked him if he wanted to meet up. Vague reasons not to. Eventually asked him to just tell me if he didn’t want to see me again rather than just disappear. Message back – I’ve still got feelings for someone else.
Fair enough.
But.
Hint to anyone: just tell someone. Be honest. Be respectful. Don’t ghost.
